Day 1: Arrive Banff
On arrival in Calgary you will be transferred to your hotel in Banff. Hotel: Rundlestone Lodge
Day 2: Banff – Lake Louise
Take the scenic Bow Valley Parkway to Lake Louise. Today’s hike departs from the waterfront, leading to a teahouse at the shores of Lake Agnes. For hikers that seek a challenge, continue along Lake Agnes and up to the Beehive, a low peak overlooking Lake Louise. (B) Hotel for 2 nights: Lake Louise Inn
Day 3: Lake Louise
Today’s moderate hike to Larch Valley starts from the nearby Moraine Lake, the effervescent waters reflecting a magical hue of blues and greens. Along your hike you are treated to a grand view of the Valley of the Ten Peaks. Then it’s over the Kicking Horse Pass and via the Spiral Tunnels to Yoho National Park for an afternoon hike. The park is a natural wonderland with the Takakkaw Falls at its heart. (B)
Day 4: Lake Louise - Jasper National Park
Travel the Icefields Parkway today, over two passes and watersheds and through unforgettable mountain landscapes ending at Sunwapta Falls in Jasper National Park. Today’s hike to the Parker Ridge of Mount Athabasca reveals the majesty of the Saskatchewan Glacier. (B) Hotel: Sunwapta Falls Resort
Day 5: Sunwapta Falls – Valemount
Stop at Maligne Lake for a moderate hike up the Bald Hills with an incredible view of the lake and the glaciated peaks that surround it. Via Medicine Lake, the trail leads to Maligne Canyon and one of the Rockies’ deepest gorges. A short, but steep walk along the sheer limestone walls and over a couple of bridges leads to deep inside the canyon carved by the Maligne River. Then continue on the Yellowhead Highway to Valemount. Day 6: Valemount - Clearwater
Travel to the Blue River for a jet boat ride. Bears, moose, eagles and beavers may be seen en route to Mud Lake and Mud River. Continue to Clearwater where today’s hike explores the Wells Gray National Park. (B) Hotel: Clearwater Lodge
Day 7: Clearwater - Whistler
Travel through a continually changing landscape of lakes, meadows and forest to Whistler. (B) Hotel for 2 nights: Delta Whistler
Day 8: Whistler
Ride the Peak 2 Peak gondola then hike the High Note Trail with its unforgettable vistas and uninterrupted views for hundreds of kilometres. (B)
Day 9: Whistler - Vancouver
The Sea-to-Sky Highway takes you to Lynn Canyon in North Vancouver, where todays hike leads over a suspension bridge similar to the one spanning the Capilano River and continues through a beautiful coastal rainforest. (B) Hotel for 2 nights: Blue Horizon Hotel
Day 10: Vancouver
Explore Vancouver by bicycle, taking in Stanley Park, the Seawall, English Bay and the downtown core, crossing False Creek to Granville Island. Return via historic Gastown and Canada Place. (B)
Day 11: Vancouver departure
Transfer independently to Vancouver Airport.
Tour also operates in reverse from Vancouver to Calgary
